| Remember Barbapapa from the 70s? If you don't remember him Barbapapa was the star of a series of children's books written in the 1970s by Annette Tison and Talus Taylor. The books were originally written in French (barbe papa is French for candy floss, or literally father's beard) and was so popular that it was later translated into over 30 languages. Barbapapa himself is a pear-shaped, pink shape shifting blob-like creature who stumbles upon the human world and tries to fit in... Aren't we all...?
