| One of the most exciting new pieces from Menu is the Galerie Candleholder, which changes mood as you change the contents. A couple of fresh flowers immersed in water, dried rosebuds, stones gathered on the beach, red lintels from your kitchen shelves, bright candy-coated chocolates... liberate your imagination and create your own very personal accent, week after week. The Galerie Candleholder was awarded the Formland Prize in 2000. Design: Pernille Vea. Materials: Heat-resistant glass with base and top of solid stainless metal. The Galerie Candleholder consists of a thin, heat-resistant glass cylinder, a candle-lit hotplate in solid, stainless metal and a cylinder shaped base in the same material. The whole product is easy to take apart, and the parts can be used separately, e.g. as a vase, butter bowl or shallow holder for flat candles which can be placed directly on the table or in the window.
