| Air Sphereing for Two |
£56.00 |
 |
| This unique experience combines the thrill of rolling down a hill inside an inflatable Sphere whilst flying in a vertical wind tunnel, which makes for a heady mix of adrenalin, exhilaration and intensity. Air-Sphereing is an incredible experience worth sharing. You will enter an 8 foot inflatable Sphere and let the mighty power of the 150mph Airkix Wind Tunnel do the rest as you enjoy the ride of your lives.\n\nAgenda\n\nUpon contact with the supplier you will be issued with a report time; it is important that you arrive no later than the report time given. On arrival you will have a fun briefing and will receive all necessary instruction. The two co-riders' will then enter the inflatable Sphere together and take their positions. As the Sphere is lifted off the ground by the 150mph airflow, the co-riders' will be introduced to, and share, the high octane, adrenalin fuelled world of Air-Sphereing. Expect to be on-site for approximately one hour. In terms of the length of the Air-Sphere ride itself.. if the wind tunnel did not have a roof, the forces of up to 150mph would blow you the equivalent distance to 4 laps of an athletics track, just over 1 mile!\n\nNotes\n\nOn purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. You are then free to contact the venue to book a time for your Air Sphereing. The first Air-sphereing rides will be available from 1st January 2009. This voucher entitles two people to one flight in the same Sphere (OR, if you wish the voucher can entitle one person on to ride solo). Maximum weight 18 stone per rider. As long as you are in a reasonable state of health and are over 10 years of age, you can ride the Air-Sphere with another participant. You must be 13 years of age or older to ride solo. A statement of risk will need to be completed by all riders. For under 18s a parent or guardian must sign the statement of risk and this can be completed on the day. This experience is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant or has a history of heart, back or neck problems or if you're wearing a hard plaster cast. Check with your doctor first if you have a history of neck/back/heart problems. You must not be under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs. All necessary equipment is provided. You should wear casual clothes, ideally a t-shirt without a collar, and lace-up trainers are mandatory. Seeing the Air-Sphere in flight is not to be missed. The Airkix Wind Tunnel has a FREE viewing gallery and welcomes spectators. Pushchairs are permitted into the building, but are regrettably not permitted in the viewing gallery itself. |
