Developed for training airline pilots this top of the range, full motion simulator is as close as you can get to flying a passenger aeroplane without years of training. Prepare for take off and switch on the seat belt sign, its the captain speaking and its going to be a bumpy ride! An instructor is in the co pilot 's seat to ensure that you can find your way around the mass of controls and bring the plane safely into land at the end of your session.
Itinerary:
Your experience begins with a briefing from your instructor before climbing aboard the simulator. After a take of scenario you will have the opportunity to fly the plane in a variety of conditions including a simulated emergency. After attempting a controlled landing you will receive a certificate as a memento of your day. You will spend a full 30 minutes at the controls of the aircraft and will not have to share your flying time with other participants.

On purchasing this experience, you will be sent an open dated voucher valid for ten months. Not to be confused with other shared flights - this is 30 mins solo at the controls of the plane. Minimum age for this experience is 16. Up to three spectators are welcome in the simulator, but a disclaimer must be signed for children aged between 8 and 16 (absolutely no children below the age of 8 are permitted in the simulator). No previous experience is necessary. Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the premises. You will need to present a valid passport or photocard driving license with you on the day. Failure will result in you being unable to participate in the experience. You may take up to three guests with you to sit in the simulator while you pilot the plane. Please note this experience is only available on weekdays. |

This is your chance to experience a pure adrenaline rush as your instructor shows you the manoeuvrability of a modern helicopter - sideways, backwards, round in circles and then the tricky test of concentration and skill - the hover. Then it 's your turn to take the controls, climb away, take a look at the countryside, then come back down to earth for low-level flying (and we mean low!) and to see if you can handle the hover.
Itinerary:
After an introductory briefing, you will take to the skies with your instructor who will show you how to control the helicopter. Then you will have your chance to take the controls for the majority of the flight, giving you a complete experience as to what flying a helicopter is all about. A certificate of achievement is presented, signed by your instructor, upon your return.

At the Gloucestershire location, flights run all year except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. At the Kent, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, and North Devon locations, the flying season runs from April until October inclusive. Please note that the aircraft used at the Gloucestershire is actually a Stampe SV4c which is virtually identical to a Tiger Moth.

Itinerary:
Having decided upon your preferred location from the list attached, register with your chosen balloon operator and advise them of your availability. The operator will then contact you when there is a promising weather forecast, and a flight is being arranged for your preferred day, to see if you are available. Follow the balloon operator s pre-flight instructions, call for a final weather check the evening prior to your morning flight to ensure the weather is suitable, and be sure to arrive in plenty of time for your flight. Balloons are flown first thing in the morning and last thing in the day from spring to autumn and occasionally throughout the day in winter. Flights last about an hour, the whole experience lasts around three hours. Cameras and videos are welcome so bring plenty of film. *Season runs March to October.
