Departs from Cork, Ireland The first ever manned deep sea dives to the wreck of the German Battleship Bismarck. By 800 ft all traces of sunlight will be gone and you will be in total darknes. Remember to look for tiny bioluminescent creatures who manage to live at these depths. At 4,000 ft the interior of the MIR will start to cool and at 15,000 ft you finally reach to wreck site. Words cannot describe what your eyes see through the glass of the MIR as you expore the Bismarck. But remember nothing will be taken except photographs, videos and memories. You will journey to the wreck of the Bismarck aboard the MIR I and MIR II submersibles, vessels capable of reaching ocean depths of 20,000 ft (6,000m) giving them the capability of visiting nearly all of the ocean floor worldwide. Housed aboard the mother ship 'Akademik Keidysh' the MIR's are part of only 5 manned deep diving submersibles available worldwide. NO AVAILABILITY UNTIL 2005. Following a final briefing you will enter the submersible and a crane will lift the MIR into the cold waters of the North Atlantic. You will decend at a rate of 31m per minute.
Lit by the submersible's powerful lights you look at the remains of the Bismarck. The main part is surprisingly intact, although it shows obvious signs of the large scale damage wrought by the pounding of the British shells. Part of the stern has broken away and the main gun turrets are missing. many of the smaller guns are still in place. The bridge area was largely blown away but the remaining superstructure is intact but damaged. Some of the wooden planks are still visisble on the deck. High tech video equipment will record your experience. Each individual dive will last about 11-12 hours. The site of the Bismarck is considered a historic grave site and no salvaging will occur during this expedition. Nothing will be taken other than photos, videos and memories.

Your 13 day experience includes the following: accomodation and meals on the Akademik Keldysh, two hotel overnights in a twin share room in Cork (the expedition commences and ends in Cork), transfers to & from the ship, and all activities with in the programme. Midlands Become a qualified skydiver with this intensive course. (Nottinghamshire, Midlands) You will get individual attention in this accelerated freefall course(max group size of 3). Although you don't actually fall faster you will learn the fundamentals of skydiving 3 to 5 times faster than any other course. The price includes all the basic accessories needed as a skydiver(yours to keep) - tailored jumpsuit, altimeter, helmet, goggles, logbook and British Parachute Assn Membership. The accelerated freefall course includes 8 skydives. The course commences with a full day of tuition. This covers the theory and practice of Skydiving. When your Instructors are happy with your performance on the ground, you will make your Level 1 skydive from 12,000 feet with two Instructors holding on to you. The AFF course is based on eight Levels of accomplishment, normally one skydive at each Level, and is designed to take place over a full week. Your weight fully clothed must not exceed 16 stone (102 kg). Your weight will be checked on the day of your course. The minimum age for sport parachuting is 16 years. Important Fitness/Medical Notes:

If you are 40 years of age or over, or you have suffered from any of the following, you must obtain written approval from your Doctor on the 'Declaration of Fitness to Parachute' form before commencing training:

No person over the age of 50 years will normally be accepted for novice parachute training, other than for Tandem Skydives, where high ages may be acceptable. Exceptions to this rule may be allowed if the candidate either has previous experience or is of a high standard of fitness and can convince the Instructor of that fitness.
You will not be allowed to undertake parachute training if you have ever suffered from any of the following medical conditions, unless you and your Doctor have obtained the prior approval of the Medical Advisor to the British Parachute Association (who may be contacted via the address on the 'Declaration of Fitness' form which is available from us):Epilepsy, fits, severe head injury, recurrent blackouts or giddiness, disease of the brain or nervous system, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, recurrent weakness or dislocation of any limb, diabetes, mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction.

Mallory Park, Leicestershire (Midlands) Drive a real Formula 1 Racing Car! (Mallory Park, Leicestershire) For any motor racing enthusiast, the chance to participate in the sport that has produced racing legends such as Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna and Jackie Stewart is simply a dream come true. Never before in the U.K. has there been an opportunity for the general public to experience the sensation of driving an Ex-Grand Prix Formula One Racing Car, which until now has been reserved only for professional Formula One drivers - this is the real thing. On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 10 months validity. Your course will take place at the famous Mallory Park Racing Circuit which hosts National and International race meetings. Mallory Park is 1.4 miles long, contains both technically demanding and fast sections, and is the perfect circuit to host The Formula One Experience.
Also included is an overnight stay in Country House Hotel for customer and one guest, the night prior to the event. This includes an evening meal for the customer and guest, which forms the basis of a compulsory Formula One familiarisation event, with members of the F1 team present to welcome clients and give brief details on the following day's activities. Due to the popularity of this experience your recipient will need to book approximately six months in advance (it is worth the wait!!)

On this full day experience there are staggered morning start times to form small, intimate driving teams. One to One Intensive Rally Tuition £1,295.00

Church Enstone, Oxfordshire (Midlands / South East) A Toyota Corolla rear wheel drive rally car & a National Rally Champion. All yours for a whole day! (Oxfordshire) During this intensive rallying session your instructor will take you from whatever level of ability you start the session with and push you to, and often beyond, your limits. There's no need for any prior experience as this course is built around your individual requirements.
You can even share the whole experience with up to two friends on the on the day if you wish. The first session in the car will be with the instructor demonstrating the theory. Your first stint behind the wheel will deal with the technique of steering and throttle balance.
Further time will then be spent perfecting the techniques around the rally stage, as used by several World Rally Championship Teams for testing.
The final driving session will be under the pressure of the stopwatch. The instructor will act purely as a Co-driver, giving only directional advice.
Full day of drving, up to 100miles in total. The Price Includes Personal Accident Insurance and Lunch.
The instructor will be a current or former National Rally Champion (subject to availability) who is expert in teaching the correct techniques demanded by this exhilarating sport.
Mileage completed will vary from driver to driver, but as a rough guide it may be possible to cover up to 150 miles worth of rallying, this represents nearly three times the mileage that would be completed on the average national forest rally.

The agenda includes:
Aa short safety and technique briefing, to maximise driving time, and the emphasis during the day will be firmly on you driving the car. During the day you will alternate between driving and short classroom style sessions where progress will be constantly reviewed and new goals set as old ones are achieved.

rtic Circle Leave behind the rat race and let us take you inside the Arctic Circle on a unique adventure The Arctic is one of the most fascinating and remote regions in the world. This is your chance to explore it aboard your very own snowmobile. This unique experience also includes husky sledding, plus a night at the famous Ice Igloo Hotel where everything (including the hotel itself) is carved from pure ice! If you are lucky you may get the chance to do a spot of ice hole fishing. But if you don't catch anything just go straight to the Inn to experience some genuine Lappish cuisine. Begin the tour by flying through Stockholm to Kiruna. The day includes a guided tour of the world famous Ice Hotel (tonights accommodation), and your chance to experience husky sledding first hand! And if you are lucky you will be able to see the Northern Lights. Day 2 kicks off the snowmobile adventure as you head 330km inside the Artic circle to the Wilderness Safari Camp. Day 3 is the return trip to Kiruna putting your new snowmobile skills to the test before flying home the next day. According to Swedish law you need a valid car driver's license to use a snowmobile. The machines are insured but a damage deposit is payable which is refunded upon safe return of the vehicle. All protective clothing is supplied as are helmets which are recommended but not compulsory.
